How to Make My Firefox Theme Transparent

The Mozilla Firefox browser can be customized with themes called "personas," which are graphics that appear at the very top and bottom of the computer screen, displaying different themes, colors and images. The personas are extremely easy to install, and take only moments to add to your Firefox browser. Install the TransParent theme, which is based on Photoshop's transparent pattern, by visiting the TransParent Web page at the GetPersonas website.

  • Launch a Mozilla Firefox Web browser.

  • Navigate to the TransParent persona Web page (see Resources).

  • Click the orange "Wear This Persona" button in the middle of the page. The installation starts immediately and typically takes a few seconds.

  • Look to the top of the screen for a "A New Theme Has Been Installed" message. The Firefox theme is now set to TransParent.
